Children, Youth and Family Ministry Team
We are looking for parents of children and youth to be involved in our ministry team! We will met four times each year to pray, discern God’s direction for GPC children and youth, and plan opportunities for spiritual and relational growth and faith formation. If you would like to be involved in our ministry team, please contact Elder Christy Grant. Youth are encouraged to join as well!

Children, Youth & Family Ministries
At Goleta Presbyterian Church, we believe God has a plan for children, no matter their age. God’s plan begins to unfold with the consistent and faithful teaching of God’s Word. Through our Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, we seek to be a place where children can experience God’s love, compassion, and care. We hope to partner with you to facilitate a meaningful and transformative relationship with Jesus and a desire to follow him for life. Although we are limited in the use of our facilities due to the pandemic, we trust that God is at work and is giving us an opportunity to be innovative and creative with our spaces and resources.
A message from Pastor Katie Pazan, GPC Parish Associate
Hi GPC Friends and Family!
We have a number of activities planned for the summer, including many service opportunities for children and youth. Please view the summer schedule (see the link below this message) and let me know if you have any questions or if you would like to save a space for Compassion Camp (participant or volunteer), Toddler Time, or Cachuma Lake Camping. We are limiting spaces. Invite others to participate in the life and ministry of GPC as well! I will send a text message as well that can be easily forwarded along to others....
GPC worship services have recently moved indoors to the sanctuary. Because children have not been vaccinated, we will continue with Sunday Faith Formation outdoors each Sunday. You have the option to drop your kids off at the hill on your way into the sanctuary or your children are welcome to worship with you in the sanctuary if you prefer, to be dismissed. Youth have the same option to worship outdoors or in the sanctuary.
