Worship at GPC

We have a very diverse congregation, in both age and theology. This gives us a unique opportunity to share with each other and appreciate they many ways God can influence our lives. In worship we celebrate song with both a praise band and a more traditional chancel choir, and are often blessed with special appearances by members of the congregation sharing their talents in various ways. Our sermons creatively relate traditional biblical passages to issues we struggle with in modern day, giving us room for interpretation while challenging us to live up to Christ’s calling. Occasional guest preachers offer additional fresh insights on themes of spiritual enrichment.

GPC offers meaningful and appropriate opportunities for worship every Sunday, and also in coordination with liturgical year activities for Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Easter, Pentecost, Creation Sunday, and other special worship services.

We share the sacrament of Communion on the first Sunday of each month. Teams of volunteer servers are available to bring Communion to the homes of homebound members.
