Villa Music and Arts Program

Occasionally Eduardo himself comes by to engage with the kids

Goleta Presbyterian Church invites all children in 2nd through 6th grades to join us each summer for the Villa Music and Arts Week, which concludes with a performance during our worship service on Sunday following the end of the program week. The program was established more than ten years ago by world-renowned tenor Eduardo Villa, who “grew up” in Goleta Presbyterian Church. Eduardo periodically presents a fundraising concert in support of the program. Eduardo’s legacy lives on in his vision that children will experience music and performance as gifts from God, gifts that this program helps them to share with other people.

The Summer, 2018 program was "Noah's Ark: Behind the Scenes"

Students in the Villa program experience professionally directed theater as they explore the challenges of making decisions in life, following God’s lead and responding to God’s love. Their theatrical experience includes music, drama, crafts, a field trip, and the excitement of offering a final presentation to an enthusiastically appreciative congregation.

WHO: Rising 2nd Grade through 6th Grade kids
